Located right in the town centre, we have on street parking available for our guests and provide parking discs that entitle you to free parking overnight, from 5pm.

Fishing
With the harbour just a short distance, a spot of sea fishing is a definite must. You could also enjoy the Mirehouse Pond, Cogra Moss or Ennerdale Lake or one of the many superb fishing locations in the area and the Lake District beyond.
Golfing
If you are a member of the golfing fraternity then you are sure to enjoy playing golf at the Whitehaven Golf Club. A challenging course with spectacular views of Ennerdale and the surrounding fells, this club is the newest and most modern golf course in the county. Nearby too is St. Bees Golf Club which provides a hilly seaside course with 9 holes and plenty of sea air.

The harbour is a great place to take a leisurely stroll with its yachting marina and the Beacon Heritage Centre. It is possible to make short sea trips from the harbour in Whitehaven to see porpoises, dolphins, seals and various sea birds on the cliffs. The harbour lights at night reflect beautifully on the sea and create an atmosphere and view that go hand in hand… with going hand in hand.
